Need to talk with another parent? F.E.A.S.T. parents offer peer support via:

We are about a month into refeeding and would like recommendations for therapy. Presently we are going to a Christian counselor who is a wonderful woman but I don’t think really understands Maudsley, CBT and others.
We live in PA, USA and don’t have any Maudsley therapists near us. Any suggestions would be greatly welcomed. Thanks so much.
Is PA Pennsylvania?
You can find that on maudsley parents site:

Woodland Forge offers ongoing outpatient therapy for children through young adults who struggle with eating disorders and anxiety disorders.  Our flagship service is our Family Program which is run over a portion of one week. Visit the program web pages here.  The intervention is based on a modified version of FBT and also includes evidence based behavioral treatment for the patient's anxieties before, during, and after eating. Intensive coaching as well as family therapy, psycho-education, and individual therapies are offered. The Family Program is offered in a small, intimate setting wherein your family is the only family seen at one time to ensure fully individualized attention and follow-up.

Some parents needed to work with a non-maudsley team:

Many of us needed to drive long distances to find help. We drove about 100 km every week for 5 months.

Another idea is Laura Collins, I think she offers skype-sessions for help.
