I was looking at the provider forum and remembered looking at this site when my d was acutely ill.  I think it is pretty good.  You see things from the patient's perspective.  Some posts are more objective than others, but it is fairly easy to tell which are which.  For families with adult sufferers, I think this is particularly useful.

Thanks for the link.  I used the site before placing our D in residential treatment.  It gave me some peace of mind when handing over my child to someone else (a scary thing to do!).  A link I found useful on the site helped me create a list of questions to ask the facility we chose:

MY daughter has been to five different treatment programs.

All but one of those five were reviewed on the site you mentioned.

I found the reviews of those places to be fair and very accurate.

The only exception is when you can tell a staff member is likely the reviewer of a place - which is fortunately rare - but you can tell because of the way that they 'over praise' the specific place. Most readers can see when that happens. Again, it is rare.

Useful site, in my opinion.
