My daughter successfully beat an eating disorder when she was in high school. This site saved my sanity. She is now 23 years old and married.
I have a family member in St Pete, Tampa area who is a young mother and has reached out for help with anorexia. She has no money and no insurance. Does anyone know where she can start to get help? Thanks!
Hi and welcome again! It is great to hear that your d is well now and married!

The very well recommended Sarah Ravin is in Florida. No idea what it will cost. If she is without money AND insurance that will be tricky. FBT is something you can do at home and on your own and then it is cheap (besides cost for food that is thrown or purged). But if she is alone she will need help. Can you think about helping her?

Keep feeding. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
There is an excellent program (in New York?) that Kali's daughter did.  It was free of charge as this is a research facility.  I have no idea if your relative might be a candidate or not, but if interested, you could ask Kali.

Best of luck. xx

Have you already seen this https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/UCSDIFTPHEAL
UCSD is an amazing program and Project Heal is offering a scholarship. I would definitely check this out. This program saved my daughter’s life.
