My family is experiencing a total collapse. Our youngest daughter was diagnosed AN on April the 8th 2019. So we are refeeding. We follow FBT and am glad that it is available. I quit my job on the 8th to be with my daughter. 4 years ago, my husband had a nervous breakdown due to overload. He suffers from stress and our daughters reactions to referring is triggering a reaction from him. He can't sleep, is irritable, worried and much more. Our oldest daughter is Asperger and is suffering from all the changes, unrest and conflicts. So we are pressed by a rotten economy, shifty states of mind, and conflicts galore.
I feel so useless. Our daughter is supposed to gain 1 - 1 1/2 kg a week. So far she has gained 3.1 kg. She has to gain 11 kg before she is at a healthy weight.  So I feel like I am failing. Actually I am not really succeeding all the way round in the family. I don't even have the energy to talk to my old and sick parents, who just don't t understand.
Any advice?

Hi Our_marathon, I am sorry for all that you are going through. My only advice is to keep coming back to this forum. You will find support here, answers to your questions, and a place to vent. It seems like you are not failing, you are 1/4 of the way to where you need to be for your d's weight gain. You are not useless, you are in the best position to help your daughter, and it's not always going to go right all the time. Just keep pushing, keep trying, and forgive yourself when things don't work out the way you expect they should.

My d has been sick for years and I have been unable to put ANY weight on her. But the forum is still helpful.

Here are some resources to help you: https://www.feast-ed.org/family-guide-series/

Stay connected to the Forum, please.
