This site is truly amazing. I've shared it with the families I know through the ED program and told them it has been lifeline. You just dont feel alone here. Huge thank you! ❤

Thank you ❤️  I have directed a lot of people here, although I wish I didn’t have to if you see what I mean.

The forum helped me far more than any doctor ever has in truth, and I’m happy to say that d is so much better, not totally there but well  on the road in great part thanks to this site (and many, many packets of lard, double cream and nuts!)

Thanks to this site I'm still sane (well, mostly!) and d is doing really well most of the time. Long road and I'd say we're 9/10 th of the way there. I know we wouldn't be where we are now without the support and advice this site provides. Big thanks to Ellesmum, Tina72 and all that helped me during the very hard times.😍

This site has been a complete life saver to me and my daughter. She is doing well, still on the road to recovery but in a much better place.

We have received good care from CAHMS but it was all the tips and good advice on this forum that have made all the difference in our FBT journey.

15 year old D. Started to feel low summer 2019. Fall out with friends October 2019. Depressed, self-harming and suicidal from January 2020. Diagnosed with AN July 2020. Slowly coming out of it and feeling hopeful for the future.

Thanks to this forum and some amazing advice and support I got here, my kid is healthy and happy and at college, 4 years after RAN, and ED is not part of her life. To those in the trenches: There is plenty of hope. Keep feeding. Whatever it takes, feed. And take care of yourselves too, it's a long haul.

It is so lovely to hear from you all!!

Ellesmum, krae so good to hear from you both!!
Bobs, I am pleased to hear that your child and you are in a better place.
And EC_Mom, thanks for the update! The fact that ED is not part of your d’s life is absolutely wonderful to know!! Thanks for sharing that! I know it gives all of us a smile and hope.
