My son was craving itI I had not even looked but turns out AS IS the recipe equals 762 cals and 43 grams of fat in 1 CUP. Imagine using cream! it is soooooo yummy! I used a large kaiser roll instead of the 3 slices of white bread btw and it was great!

Recipe

preheat 400 degrees

cook 16 oz elbow macaroni al dente. Drain and return to pan.

Pulse 4 slices hearty white bread, 3 TBS butter cubes, and 1/2 cup grated Parmesan in a food processor . Add salt and pepper to taste. Garlic if you want.

Meanwhile in large skillet over over medium heat melt 3 TBS butter. Cook 1/4 cup diced onion in butter for a few minutes until tender. Add 1 tsp ground mustard and 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper. Then stir in 1/4 cup flour. Cook Until smoothe  about 3 minutes. Slowly whisk in 3 cups whole milk and 2 cups half n half. ( obviously can use full cream). Bring to boil.

Reduce heat and simmer about 5 mins stirring constantly under thickened.
Shut off heat. Stir in 4 ounces velveeta, 8 ounces sharp cheddar, 8 ounces Monterey Jack. Stir until melted. Add salt and pepper and 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce.

Pour in pasta and mix.
Put in large baking dish and put bread crumb topping on.
Bake about 10-15 minutes until top browned.

1 cup : 762 cals, 43 fat grams, 61 carbs, 32 protein.
