I have heard about TBT-AN (Temperament Based Treatment for AN), and understood the basic principles, but appreciate having this research to read, which explains it in more detail.

It is good to know that Walter Kaye and others are still striving for and researching other treatment modalities for these tough to beat illnesses. Thank you for highlighting.
Believe you can and you're halfway there.

We tried to get our adult son into the week-long intensive program for TBT-N in Ohio, but his insurance would not cover it. I was so disappointed. He really wanted to try this treatment. I bought the provider's book and although it's geared toward clinicians, we are thinking about giving it a shot here among a group of well-educated volunteers. I mean what else can we do as parents? Wait for the multi-billion-dollar health insurance industry to drop a few crumbs our way so our children won't die, or try to replicate these treatment modalities ourselves?

Bumping this.
This came to mind as another option to think about on top of more standard FBT.
