Some of you recently posted some links to good programs to control internet access and block special sites and apps. I do not find that links any more, can you help with that? I need it for some new parents.

Hi Tina

We just bought Circle with Disney for our children. It is a device like a router and not an app. It works like a gateway and you can decide what sites to allow and the internet can also be switched on an off and so on.
D became obsessed with exercise at age 9 and started eating 'healthy' at age 9.5. Restricting couple of months later. IP for 2 weeks at age 10. Slowly refed for months on Ensures alone, followed by swap over with food at a snails pace. WR after a year at age 11 in March 2017. Highly recommend Disney Circle. We have had it for a year now and it’s a lifesaver.

As to Disney Circle ... TONS of devices in our home and parents with very little tech knowledge ... is Disney Circle either very intuitive and/or is there good phone support??
Mom of either pre-diagnosis or non-ed underweight 12 yoa (as of March 2018) kid here to learn how to achieve weight gain.  BMI steadily in the mid 12's for nearly her entire life.  Born 2006. UPDATE:  April 2018 diagnosed ARFID, based solely on weight being less than 75% of Ideal Body Weight.  Mildly picky, but mostly the problem is a volume/early satiety issue, along with abdominal discomfort and chronic constipation, all present since birth.  UPDATE:  July 2019 diagnosed with PANS. Dr. said likely started first PANS episode at less than 1 or 2 years of age.  On long-term daily prophylactic antibiotics. BMI now about 16 after period of intense refeeding prior to PANS dx,  followed by stagnation as we sort out what is next. FWIW ED-D is a fraternal twin and we have no other kids.

We have something that sends us messages as to what sites our kids visited.

Debra18, can you check what that is called, that sounds also interesting to me.

Parental control. The laptop had it on Microsoft. You can see how much time they spend on the internet and what they look at.

Disney Circle is a router that works through the WiFi in your home. The directions walk you through setup easily. It’s one of the best tools I have found that lets you customize and shut on and off Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok and others. You can pause the internet and set a time for the internet to come on and off on every device in your home morning and night.  You can control each device individually also.
