After 10 years and 2 relapses we are back at this point but now she is 25.
Can anyone advise of the process please. She is barely engaging, certainly won't attend an appointment anywhere and extremely suicidal as she can't face it all again.

She was sectioned as a minor if that makes a difference
My lovely daughter is 18 years old. After 6 months of inpatient treatment she is home, eating and generally happy. Proud member of the "Purple Bracelet Army"

Hi Megan,
so sorry to hear that she is struggling and you have such a hard time at the moment.
I know nearly nothing about your question but I think I remember there is a possibilty for a 72 h admission when they are suicidal.
Here is a mum from UK that is a doctor and might be able to help: Jojo2271. Maybe worth to try to contact her via private mail?
Keep feeding. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

In most countries one would need to be found to be at risk to herself or others to be sectioned. The issue would be to get her assessed by a doctor first.

gp and emergency doctors can do that and then a psychiatric evaluation is required.

As you say she is extremely suicidal you should call emergency services. That is serious and requires immediate action.
Please take care.

Dear Megan_Wales,

So sorry your daughter finds herself in this heartbreaking situation. As others have said, suicidality is so very serious...do you have assistance on the ground where you are right now to help keep her safe? I know you have fought a long and valiant fight for your daughters health, and she has had some periods of wellness. I hope she will find that again. In the meantime can you get in touch with the crisis team/CAMHS services/hospital (what ever you think is best) in your area and find out how to have her assessed and start the process for a section, and if she needs to be in a safe place like a hospital, bring her in? Since she was sectioned once before are you in touch with any of the professionals who helped her last time she was sectioned who you could reach out to?

I have also had a seriously suicidal daughter and am sending you virtual hugs.

warmly,

Kali
