Hi. This is third attempt so please forgive. Its my friend's petition to help get her son appropriate treatment. He is 15 autistic sectioned but not receiving any treatment. Anyone can sign it not just UK residents.

Thank you for taking the time to read it. Its Mothers Day coming up here next week and it would he brilliant if we could get more signatures to pressure the NHS to take action. If he had cancer they wouldn't leave him 6 months in an A&E without treatment.
Signed and identified with. *sigh*
D2 RAN as part of Pervasive Refusal Syndrome with a history of not walking for a year and being non verbal for a short while too. Considered to be Aspergers by everyone that has worked with her and by us but still awaiting a diagnosis that'll help us access support services she needs.
D1 recovered RAN and D3 doing pretty well considering the mayhem around here!
Signed sealed and delivered!
All too often patients with dual autism and mental health diagnoses are failed. It's time services worked collaboratively and developed a more joined up way of caring for and treating people like Matthew.

Thank you. Petition now has 136 000 signatures and still climbing. My friend and hubbie are on ITV This Morning on Monday. There are apparently only 3 units for adolescents with ASD and MH problems in the UK. Waiting lists are long. And when they get a bed their locations often mean that child and parents are separated for long periods. I am sick of the talk and inaction about MH in this country. Its so wrong that children are being denied appropriate help and this is mirrored in so many posts on here.
I have just seen them on This Morning. What an absolutely heartbreaking story. Isabelle did so well, she came across as so passionate and loving. That appearance can potentially do so much good for helping Matthew. Very lovely brave lady. I hope they get Matthew to the right place as soon as possible.

I held it together until they hugged at the end. Holly didn't hold it together at all. Very touching.

Petition signed and shared.

p.s. Petition jumped up by 5,000 names in the minute it took for me to sign it......

On particularly rough days when I am sure I can't possibly endure, I like to remind myself that my track record for getting through bad days so far is 100% and that's pretty good. [Author Unknown]
Thank you. Isabelle has been very brave over the last 6 months. Lets hope that Matthew gets moved soon. We won't believe the current NHS spin until a date is set as they have been saying the same since September. Please others do sign and consider passing to friends on twitter of facebook. Anyone can sign not just those in UK.
