For those of you have not seen all the news reports Weight Watchers (WW) has released an app aimed at children 8-17. There has been numerous articles printed in English language press and on line. It produced at least two Change.org petitions. https://www.change.org/p/ww-fomerly-weight-watchers-ww-remove-children-s-weight-loss-app-that-will-cause-countless-eating-disorders and https://www.change.org/p/weight-watchers-remove-your-weight-loss-app-for-kids

There has been significant negative press. The app is not free which does help reduce the chance of use it being used in secret, but the first week is free.

For all sorts of reasons this is a worrying turn.  For those who have the time and strength I would encourage you all to support the campaigns against the app.
