Seems to have been a couple of years since internet access has been discussed on the forum. Wondered if there are any new opinions/options.

My D about to be discharged from hospital and I feel like want to restrict her ability to access internet when she returns home as I know she searches up everything but wanted to a let her keep snapchat so she can chat to friends.

What do you all think?

I fully support limiting her internet access!
Don't want to deal with more triggering stuff on the net.

How is d doing? And how are you!

There are different ways to do that. And I agree with scaredmom, it is needed in most cases.

1. You can limit her internet access on the PC and ask her to use it only in the living room when somebody is around.
2. You can block triggering websides (proana sites, weight watchers or what else).
3. You can block all apps on her smartphone besides snapchat. Here there are prepaid cards for cellphones that can only be used for whatsapp. Don´t know if there is something like that where you live.
4. If she finds out how to unblock those limits I would cancel her internet access on smartphone completely. As a consequence.

Check smartphone and PC regularly. If you have history blocked change that so you can see which sites she has visited.

If you need help with that, you the search button for "blocking internet sites". Or come back and ask [biggrin].
Keep feeding. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
