My non-ED s has a PE unit where they are logging calories. Should I speak to the teacher? How can I convince her that this is a bad idea?

I'm not sure what you should do, but I think it's likely that the teacher is required to do this.  Usually these things are written into the curriculum so a higher authority is needed to fix them. xx

EC mom, if you want to have the conversation, it's best to speak to the head of department. I'd bring along some evidence, and maybe offer an alternative activity.

Good luck and let us know what you decide.
