We have recruited two new moderators to ATDT. Mamaroo and MelstevUK have both been on the forum for sometime and we are extremely grateful to them for offering their time and expertise in helping out.

MarcellaUK has stepped back and is moderating only on the Facebook group now as she plans on some retirement. Thank you for all your years on here as a moderator and caregiver.
D diagnosed restrictive AN June 2010 age 13. Initially weight restored 2012. Relapse and continuously edging towards recovery. Treatment: multiple hospitalisations and individual and family therapy.
Welcome Mamaroo and MelstevUK

MarcellaUK, thank you so much for your many wise and kind words over the years and your continued work on the Facebook group.

Wonderful to have Mamaroo and Melstev joining the moderating team!  Thanks so much for being willing to step up and help other parents around the world.  The additional expertise that you both have geographically, Mamaroo in AUS and Melstev in the U.K., will be particularly valuable to forum members.

Keep feeding. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
Thank you so much for the warm welcome. I am happy to be of service here. This forum is such a lifesaver to so many families and I don't know how our family would've gotten through our daily battles without the support of every single person here. Thank you so much, I'm glad to be able to give some back!
D became obsessed with exercise at age 9 and started eating 'healthy' at age 9.5. Restricting couple of months later. IP for 2 weeks at age 10. Slowly refed for months on Ensures alone, followed by swap over with food at a snails pace. WR after a year at age 11 in March 2017. Thank you from me as well for the warm welcome. This forum is such an important place - I genuinely believe that my d would have been an invalid for life if I had not found ATDT and got up to date information about eating disorders and anorexia nervosa in particular.  I am happy to be contributing on the forum and to work behind the scenes too.  I love the international aspect of ATDT and being part of a community with members from all over the world.

Marcella - thank you for your contribution and for your support and friendship over the years.  I hope we can meet up again soon given that you are moving to Scotland!
Believe you can and you're halfway there.

Thanks to melstevUK and Mamaroo!  Moderating is a very rewarding experience, and I'm sure you'll both be great at it!

Thanks to new and former moderators. This forum is the only place where I feel understood, supported, cheered and the info is invaluable.
13 yo d started to eat "healthy" September 2018, she had a growth spurt a bit later, followed by tummy bug. She started restricting breakfast and school lunch in January 2019 (that we know). We succesfully refed at home.
