Are you a native or near-native speaker of a language other than English?  Do you have some time and interest in getting together with others to translate F.E.A.S.T. Family Guides?  We currently have translated guides in German (thanks so much tina72!!) and Spanish (thanks to Cipatli, a valued F.E.A.S.T. member in Mexico).

It would help families around the world so much to be able to access F.E.A.S.T. Family Guides in their own language.  If you have an interest in translating the Family Guides, please contact any of the moderating team on Around the Dinner Table, or reach out on the main F.E.A.S.T. website.  If there are a few people who would like to work together on a translation, we can facilitate that too.

Thanks in advance,
sk8r31

Hi sk8r31,
just wanted to ask why the second family guide I have translated is not online up to now? I have send it to Daryl on 12th April. It is called "Ernährung während einer Essstörung" (it is the nutrition guide). Are there any problems? The third will be done in a few days too.

Thank you Tina for translating these! What a big help to German, Austrian and Swiss families!

Yes Kali,
about 130 million people speak german and it is the most spoken language in European Union. Even some people from Danmark or Netherlands speak German. It changed already something here that we translated papers up to now. Evas helpsheets in german get downloaded very often and Daniel LeGrange has done a seminar at Charite hospital in Berlin in May. I think it would be helpful if the other family guides were online, too, as Eva has set a link to them on her homepage.

Tina I have passed on your message to Daryl about the family guides. I am sure she will sort things out.

Absolutely would love to have a translation in Russian.  If you are willing to take a stab, I think there are others who might be willing to spell check etc. in Russian.  Please reach out to Laura at laura@feast-ed.org and she can direct you on how to get started.
