Hi everybody,

My wife & I will be moving to the San Francisco Bay area in mid-May. I think this move will be a good thing for us in many ways & my wife is very happy about it but I am a bit nervous about changing treatment providers at this stage of my wife's recovery from AN (she has come a LONG way since we started FBT last summer--physically & psychologically --but is not yet fully weight restored). Her therapist has offered to do sessions with her/us over Skype but we really need to find a primary care doctor in the area who is knowledgeable about eating disorders; we've learned the hard way that many of them are not! Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks!

My d goes to college in the Bay area, and we have some knowledge of providers in that neck of the woods.  We/she has been happy over the past 4 years with her primary care doc, as well as ED psychiatrist (we met him at the UCSD 5 Day Intensive, and he relocated to the Bay area afterwards), and an RD that he recommended to us 18 months ago.

I will email you with specifics if you like.

Warmly,
