With an ED in the house can be hard to enjoy this time of year. I hope you are all kind to yourselves and that you get to enjoy this time with your families.

Thank you Foodsupport,
I wish you all the best too!
Trying to take it slow these few days. No expectations for D only for her to eat.
Happy holidays to all here on FEAST.

Thank you very much! Would just like to add that I'm thinking of all of you still refeeding and especially those that are IP - it's very difficult having a sick child at a time when everyone out there is celebrating with family and friends. Hang in there!

Slowly refed for months on Ensures alone, followed by swap over with food at a snails pace. WR after a year at age 11 in March 2017. She is back to her old happy self and can eat anything put in front of her. Now working on intuitive eating.

Happy Christmas to you on this amazing forum. This time last year we were in the thick of it with D8. This year she barely flinches at the sight of food and is merrily opening her presents without a care in the world😀. Thank you so much everyone here who supported us through those awful months....and there is most certainly hope. Love and hugs to you all xxx

I wish you all around the world a happy and peaceful Christmas from Germany.
I hope you can have some nice hours with the family although you have ED in the house.
Try to do something nice for yourself. Give a hug from me to each family member. [biggrin]

Merry Christmas! Thank you all for the support. We are still refeeding. Yesterday wasn't too bad; today is worse due to guilt ☹ We will keep at it though and pray that next year won't be so hard.

I do hope everyone on this awful journey did find some peace and happiness over the festive season Thank you to everyone for all of your support
From the terrible lows to the few
highs that we have
I think I would have gone crazy without having the support we get here I am now beginning to feel I really need to get some help for myself After loosing it over Xmas with less than supportive family members who I have tried to explain the illness to but they just don’t get it and I am like a bull raging inside when I feel the frustration with them
Grrrr! I’m only human but I do think the 5/6 months of stress getting to me
Sorry for the rant
I know you all understand
Happy New Year everyone
Here’s to a brighter 2018!
