Just wanted to take a moment to say Merry Christmas to everyone. Holidays (especially those revolving around food!) can be a difficult time for us in the FEAST family, so I wanted everyone to know I am thinking of you and sending LOVE and PEACE.

I never would have made it through this past summer without everyone on this forum. Even though I didn't have a lot of time to post, just knowing you were here got me through the toughest days, especially in the middle of the night when I needed someone to talk to and I knew there would be some from this forum available, whether on the forum or by email.  Thank you all!

We are holding our own even though my D has had a set back………..

Mother of Carmen, 19

Wishing everyone a happy holiday season and Merry Christmas to you and all who celebrate.

May this be a happy time for all of us and our families!!!  Merry Christmas!
Mom in Cleveland, Ohio. 12-y.o. daughter diagnosed with RAN and hospitalized in June 2013, weight restored in September 2013, still restricting.
Merry Christmas, thinking of you and your family and all the other families on our forum and hoping we all have highlights to get us through the next few weeks xx
Diagnosed RAN October 2013, w/r but struggling with depression and anxiety.
This is the toughest Christmas ever I think. My 23 year old is in the thick of it, I've decided to miss family celebrations and am going to church to celebrate what I think is the reason for this day. Both d and I feel like crap. It is so uplifting to read about recoveries. I SOOOOO look forward to it. It will be the most gigantic blessing I can imagine.

Be strong kt, and it will come. It's OK to miss a Christmas - just use it as the impetus you both need to fight for the next one.
The future is not set; there is no fate but that which we make for ourselves.

1st chance I've had to say Merry Christmas to everyone. We celebrated Christmas, cruising the Sth Pacific, visiting New Caledonia and Fiji! Had a fantastic time, D had a great time, eating, drinking (lots of "sherbets" especially Champagne Cocktails!). She missed her boyfriend and the dogs. This I hope will give hope to all who still in the trenches fighting the demon ED
