Hi, a journalist and author Bryony Gordon who has suffered with OCD anorexia bulimia and depression as well as other MH experiences has set up mentalhealthmates.co.uk and sets up walks and meets for anyone who is suffering from mh issues.
Any of you UK carers may benefit and also any of our ED affected kids may have a time when they want to reach out.
It is in its infancy and Bryony is looking for people to support the mentalhealth mates walks etc arpund the uk.
I hope it is useful to someone or anyone who wants to raise the agenda of mh as , like park runs, i can see this taking off. Bryony has already met in Hyde Park and Leeds. I havent checked where else.
Any feedback if you try this out or become a part of this development would be good.
