The NEDC (National Eating Disorders Collaboration) in Australia is hosting a two-day Members' Meeting in Melbourne, 27-28 February 2020.  https://www.nedc.com.au/professional-development/nedc-members-meeting-2020/
It is free to members. Discussions about "What does the system of care for eating disorders need to be?" and a series of workshops are on offer.
Is anyone here going to be able to attend?
If so, it would be super if you could report back what you heard and what your thoughts are. Thank you in advance!
D fell down the rabbit hole of AN at age 11 after difficulty swallowing followed by rapid weight loss. Progressing well through recovery, but still climbing our way out of the hole.

Unfortunately I wont be able to attend but would also love to hear how it goes. Just unfortunate that an Australian "National" organisation funded by our federal government is not having this in places other than Melbourne

It would be good, to be able do this every year in multiple locations. That being said they are very expensive to run and there are other things to spend the money on. They do however move the meetings around - this being the first meeting in Melbourne. I am not sure where they are heading next year, hopefully they share it around well.
