Wishing all the Feasties and their families here the very best of 2019! May you all find the strength every day to carry on with the heroic effort of refeeding. There may be hard days, but hopefully there will be more better days. Thanks to everyone here who provides support for those in the trenches. It is greatly appreciated.
D became obsessed with exercise at age 9. Started eating 'healthy' at age 9.5. Restricting couple of months later. IP for 2 weeks at age 10. Slowly refed for months on Ensures alone, followed by swap over with food at a snails pace. WR after a year at age 11 in March 2017. She is back to her old happy self and can eat anything put in front of her.

Thanks Mamaroo! Wishing you all the best for 2019.
I hope for all here on ATDT that this year brings your children closer to recovery! That there are more normal days than hard days, that your real children show themselves more than ED does. And that this year will be softer, kinder, to you all!
Love,
Scaredmom
Food+more food+time+love+good professional help+ATDT+no exercise+ state not just weight+/- the "right" medicine= healing---> recovery(--->life without ED)

Happy new year everyone
Here’s hoping that 2019 will be kinder to our precious children and that we will be given the strength to carry on, no matter where we are on the journey.
As a family we are still a long way off the end of the tunnel and at some points this year I think we turned back round and ran the other way, but we are still taking those small steps everyday. I always read the posts on here and they have given me the courage to keep going and for that I will be forever grateful. You really are an amazing community.
Xxx

Late Happy New Year. I really hope that in 2019, many of our kids become weight restored and then some. I hope that the mental healing starts. I hope that all of us carers find time to take care of ourselves and our other relationships.
