Courage is not the absence of despair; it is rather the capacity to move ahead in spite of despair

Happy new year!!

I hope 2020 brings your child closer to recovery. I send you strength and peace for this leap year. No matter where you are on this journey you are not alone.

I want to thank everyone here for the support you have given me over the last three New Years! I know the forum made the difference for my d’s health.

The caring and selflessness I see here everyday really touches my heart! ❤️ What a great international community!

if you are in the trenches or if your child is IP I send you a special hug and kind thoughts. I want to acknowledge how hard it can be. I hope things get better soon. 🤗

Hoping a much better year this coming (still a few hours to come in here) 2020. The year that is ending has been truly difficult, trying, stressing, hard, sad, scary. One of the blessings though was finding this forum at the begining of this very difficult journey, thank you all for being here for me, you are the best! Happy new year to all.
13 yo d started to eat "healthy" September 2018, she had a growth spurt a bit later, followed by tummy bug. She started restricting breakfast and school lunch in January 2019 (that we know). We succesfully refed at home.
I have found inner strenght, patience and compassion that I did not know I had.
Never retreat, never surrender
