It is Mother's day here in Canada.
I wish to acknowledge every one of the mothers, actually everyone (fathers too and other caregivers) here on this site.
You are amongst the bravest people I have the honour of knowing. You are selfless in your caring for your children. You have had to give up your picture of your life  for one with ED.  You have fought so hard against systems that did not believe you. You come here for support and you also give  support to those who need it.  Through these interactions ,we teach the world about ED and share best practices to help anyone who needs it.
You fight the hardest battle that no one can understand. You do this all because it is your child. You fight every moment of everyday for such a long time, because you are saving your child's life. Because you have to.

For that, I thank you! You are all superheroes and then some in my mind!!

Sending all best wishes to those who celebrate Mother's Day today in their particular part of the world.

You are doing heroes' work!  And though today may be a tough one if you are in the trenches, wishing you all the promise of a brighter one ahead....

Warmly,

Hi Scaredmom

Thanks for posting and I hope you had a great day yesterday! My d helped me (along with the rest of the family) to clean my box chocolate, which I received as a gift. Best Mother's day gift ever!

A belated Happy Mothers Day to a group of parents who are truly selfless, and as mentioned previously, are fighting a battle that very few could even begin to understand.  I learn from you all the time - thank you.
