Every family here gets it: eating disorders are urgent and everywhere. We know that we CANNOT AFFORD TO WAIT: not in our homes, not in our legislatures, not in public awareness.

So, what can YOU do? One small thing is to join us on this Sunday as we join in the global movement to share World Eating Disorders Action Day, June 2.

F.E.A.S.T. has committed to a historic idea: broadcast live to the world for six hours (to span the majority of time zones we share globally). I'm hosting, from my kitchen, but I'll be talking with dozens of folks around the world who are participating in WEDAD together. We're going to ask folks, live, why THEY CAN'T AFFORD TO WAIT when it comes to eating disorders.

It's going to be an event to remember, with opportunities to meet folks all over the world.

You don't have to be on Facebook to watch, and you can tune in any time.

Please join us as you can? We want to vividly illustrate how the family community, how this forum, how F.E.A.S.T. is connected and CARES about this issue. We want the family that just discovered they are dealing with an ED to feel they've found a haven. We want folks who have been fighting on their own to find us and feel at home. We want to prove that families will show up and step up and get involved.

It's going to be an amazing day. And then I am going to nap for a loooong time. Join me Sunday in my kitchen, from your kitchen?

This will be an amazing event.  I'm 'on the road' with the family on a trip, but will try to check in!
