This is the first time I have heard of it - I will go online now to see what this is about.  Thank you.
Believe you can and you're halfway there.

Hello melstevUk ,it is a sort of documentary showing near our home for just 4 days next week.I think I will go and see it first.Just very concerned it might have a negative rather than positive impact.Without knowing full content I am concerned it might have triggering content. My daughter is doing well but still in very early stages of recovery.I was just happy she had shown an interest in opening a bit of a dialog about her eating disorder.

I know this an old post but just wondering if you went to see the documentary? Or if anyone else has seen it?
I have just watched it and was wondering if it would be good for my daughter who has RAN, still in recovery but getting close to WR. I am thinking there is more positive than negative but interested if anyone else has watched it.

Hi...I think the movie is on Netflix if anyone has it and wants to take a look without their kids and see what they think. We stayed away from anything which was eating disorder/body image related though. So something like this might be interesting for carers to watch.

Hello again,I did go and see it when it showed in Glenbrook,Embrace can now be purchased on iTunes or on google play ,it is definitely worth watching.I saw it on my own then watched it at home with my daughter. There is one story line in particular regarding a girl still in the cluches of anorexia and she is alarmingly underweight.I found that part more upsetting.I dont know if I would have let my daughter watch it in the early stages of recovery but we did find it very valuable with some great aspects about body image and acceptance.

$3.55 to rent, $14 to buy, worth the investment,it just delivers a great message about loving your body at any size,an ideal all people regardless of having an eating disorder should embrace 😉.The only thing missing was Male representation,as body image affects everyone.😊
