I thought having this thread may be useful as a reference.  This topic does come up quite a bit.

We often discuss how to determine targets weights and that the professionals tend to set them low.

I would encourage anyone to post to share any resources they have on WR determination. It may come in handy for those who require evidence for their ED teams.
Thanks.

My growth charts is also a useful tool in helping to determine WR based on the child's historical weight percentile.

Enn,

THANK YOU SO MUCH! Especially for pointing our the MyGrowthChart site. Looking at the data using this has allowed me to determine that I am on the right track in my estimates of what WR is for my d and confident now to present this to her medical team (because for some reason they don't want to set a WR amount!).

D fell down the rabbit hole of AN at age 11 after difficulty swallowing followed by rapid weight loss. Progressing well through recovery, but still climbing our way out of the hole.

MyGrowthChart was great for us to. It really made things hit home how ill he was and that we definitely needed to be aiming higher than the HCPs were suggesting.
