We are all devastated.  DD has been on the floor in her closet since we got home from the vet's.  I'm hoping there won't be a huge setback after she made incredible progress on our vacation.  Right now I don't feel like eating, let alone forcing food into her.  Nobody feels like eating at a time like this.  Christmas preparations came to a screeching halt and I just finished cleaning out the rabbit cage, crying the whole time.  I guess I'll have to pull it together and finish decorating the tree and wrapping presents.  I think Christmas will be a pretty quite affair this year.  It was going to be very low key (just us) anyway, but nobody feels like celebrating now.

Please keep my DD in your prayers as she deals with the death of her beloved pet on Christmas Eve.

If, at the end of my days, I can say I saved the life of not only my child, but helped to save the life of someone else's child as well, then I have lived a good life.
So sorry you loss your bunny. So hard to lose a pet, especially during the holiday. Praying it doesn't result in any set back, and for peace for your family
Oh no.  So sad to lose a 4-legged member of the family - will be sending positive thoughts your way as you navigate this.
