So today is finally surgery day. I popped unexpectedly into the unit to see her yesterday and wished I hadn’t bothered
God her attitude was appalling
Can you believe it the unit have also said she has bullied a trainee member of staff
I’m at my wits end. She’s gained weight which is great about 4lb.
She’s now gone full swing into dads corner - he’s super dad again. She actually asked me to find a wool shop so she could crochet him a blanket square!!!
You could not make it up

Then she tells me that she can’t come and see me in hospital tomorrow because she has activities to do.

I’m sick of it totally. I ended up shouting at her last night on her phone call Cos I’m treated like crap

So sick of all this heartache . The ex is loving this and actively encouraging it

I’m so tired of it all

You get surgery today.
She has gained weight.
That are the positives. Try to see that and forget all other issues at the moment.
Now your health is important. Nothing else.

I hope all will be o.k. Keep us updated!
I send you a big hug!

Wishing you all the best for your surgery, Pingu. I’m sure that when your daughter recovers she will acknowledge all that you have done for her. I have seen it written many times, and believe it to be the case, that they keep their worst behaviour for the ones they love the most.

All the best

That is really true. Believe me. She will say "I love you" a thousand times when she is better. She will hug you and kiss you again.
At the moment she is fighting everything. That is only fear.

I did not believe that this will ever happen, too, but I can tell you it did. Try to believe in that and keep swimming. It will get better.

Good luck with the surgery pingu.
Hopefully you will be stronger and know that her anger directed at you is fleeting.
I agree that they keep the worst behaviour for those they love.
It is so hard with her playing off the ex.
Take care and thinking of you x
