Hello All-

For those of you on fb, ATDT now has a closed, caregiver and parent group on FB.  It can be accessed here:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/480323385492938/

We know that some of you prefer FB and hope that the new fb group works as a supportive supplement to the forum.  We also know that the fact that the FEAST fb group was 'open' made it challenging for some to use for caregiving support.  We now have two FEAST fb groups:  one just for parents/caregivers that will be closed and one for the wider community.

The caregiver group will be a moderated group much like the forum.

Please come share and lend your voice.

also,  faces...right?  names to faces!!! although not really names to faces given ATDT is all about our 'secret identities' (which we get to keep...so, win win [smile][rolleyes]).  The 'eye rolling' is what my d (when well) does if there is any mention of my forum name.  When 'not well"  the response is more in the 'spewing venom' category than the 'eye rolling' category.  sigh.

anyway Facebook = faces.

I would love to join the group but people outside of the group can still see who are members of the group. Is there anyway of changing that? So its totally secures people's confidentiality?. I'm sure there are alot of people like me that have to keep this illness on the hush because their child and/family doesn't want people to know.

hopeful- let us look into this.  I believe we may have to changed the group from 'closed' to 'secret'.  Will update.
