Some of you know me already. Some do not. So, for those who are newer to the community let me introduce myself and explain why you're seeing so much mention of F.E.A.S.T. here on the forum.

I created this forum in 2004. That seems like a long time, but it doesn't feel that long since I and some other parents started to use this page to share ideas, inspiration, support, information, and our time. That community went on to create F.E.A.S.T., so that we would have a solid organization of parents for parents to help one another, to publish EXCELLENT information for families, and to empower parent activists to get involved around the world with changing policies and hearts and minds.

We exist now because of the time and the financial support of families. We don't have an office and a benefactor, we don't take donations or sponsorships from treatment providers or clinics (to avoid influence or bias).

So, everyone once a while we bring out the hat and look for donations. We know we help thousands of families every year, but we need some of those folks, when they can, to give back so we can keep doing it.

This month and in December we have a special opportunity. Every dollar/yen/pound/lira you kind supporters give to F.E.A.S.T. puts us in the running for generous donations on TOP of that from Newman's Own Foundation, a charitable organization. There's a lot of dough at stake, and it matters far more that we get more people to donate than how much each give: we are eligible for prizes for many different reasons. But it only works if you care.

And I know you care!

It's easy to do, and it's necessary, and it will make you feel great.

Today is Giving Tuesday, so if there's a day you want to show the love for the generous and wise community here, and for those of us who are out there working for this community, THIS IS A REALLY GREAT DAY FOR IT. There are other days with great incentives, but it will mean a lot to me to see your contributions TODAY.

So, get over to the site and see the videos from other parents. There's a new one today, from parent advocate and F.E.A.S.T. board member, JD:
