Hi mamab,
When my d was first diagnosed I didn't really find anything to help her or her sister understand AN so I made my own "brochure" and passed it off to them as something I found on the internet.  You are more than welcome to use it if it is helpful.  I modified it for my d with AN and also for my d's dance teacher and fellow dancers at the time.
