In the midst of my 19 year old son's attempt at a relapse this past summer I found this service which saved my life. It's a service that offers a scheduled support phone call. The call comes from Laura Collins Lyster Mench possibly the most knowledgeable person about parenting a child through an eating disorder. She gave me the tools I needed to work with his new treatment team, how to make decisions and she disarmed my tremendous fear so I could think clearly. It was the worst summer of my life but Laura helped me get through it.

I highly recommend this service and it is pay what you can. Please take a look.
She is amazing.

I signed up for another support phone call this week. Its been a challenge to have my son home from his first semester at college. Although he did well the transition home has been difficult. Laura helped me see the successes of the past 3 weeks and put into prospective what I am dealing with. Its hard for me tease out whats normal young adult angst and whats brain disorder. There are no words that capture the level of support and benefit, her words stay with me long after the phone call.

I highly recommend this service.
