Not on in awhile
Brief history my daughter turns 16 diagnosed a.n. and poor camhs input we were discharged as they had no more to offer it was actually a relief. Very repetitive and she was so upset .did 2 years
She has never gained much static at 40 kgs but learned she was eating ..Nd starting purging after main meal daily for months undetected by us ..No noise at all go figure
When she told me she is relieved
Anyway I'm still given out and our life is on hold but it's so slow
Best to all

Happy birthday to your D.
I am sorry to hear that things are still not going well for you at home. Is there anything we can offer to help things move forward?

D diagnosed restrictive AN June 2010 age 13.5. Weight restored July 2012. Relapse and now clawing our way back. Treatment: multiple hospitalisations and individual and family therapy.

Hi aloah,
I am too so sorry that it is still that bad with your d.
Can we help you with some ideas how to help her gain more weight to feel better?
Please do not think that FBT and magic plate is no option with young adults. My d was 17 at dx and we helped her with refeeding and she is much better now. There is always a chance to take a start and try to help them, no matter how old they are.
